01 — The Opportunity

A structural funding gap

The Problem

SMEs supply mining corporatesZambian SMEs supply goods and services to FQM and Barrick Gold — but lack capital to fulfil confirmed purchase orders.
30–90 day payment cyclesAfter delivery, SMEs wait 1–3 months for payment — creating chronic cash flow gaps that strangle growth.
Traditional lending doesn't workBanks assess the SME's balance sheet. Most don't qualify — despite holding confirmed POs from investment-grade buyers.

Eroceht's Solution

Purchase Order FinanceAdvance capital pre-delivery, secured against the Anchor Buyer's confirmed PO. Risk priced on buyer creditworthiness.
Invoice FinanceAdvance 90–100% of approved invoice value immediately post-delivery. Anchor Buyer pays the platform on their standard cycle.
One platform, two productsSingle transaction engine with two entry points. Both products anchored to the Anchor Buyer's creditworthiness, not the SME.

Transaction sizes: $100K–$1M per invoice. Initial revolving facility: $1–2M. Market: Republic of Zambia, mining supply chain.

07 — Risks & Mitigation

Known risks, built-in mitigations

Anchor Buyer API access delayed
High
SFTP/CSV fallback built into every tier. The MVP operates entirely without ERP API access. Integration is additive, not blocking.
Bank API credentials delayed
High
Begin paperwork immediately. Build disbursement engine against test environment first. Manual bank transfer as interim fallback.
BoZ licence not yet granted
Critical
Platform build proceeds in parallel. Phase delivery so payments module aligns with expected licence timeline. Platform can be demonstrated to BoZ as part of the application.
No in-house CTO / tech lead
Medium
Blott acts as interim technical leadership. All architecture decisions documented. Knowledge transfer sessions included. Support package provides continuity.
Data residency uncertainty
Low
Architecture is cloud-region agnostic. Confirmed during Phase 0. AWS Africa (Cape Town) default; Zambian hosting can be arranged if required.
Scope creep from Anchor Buyer
Medium
Strict change control. Any scope additions require written approval and revised timeline/cost. Phase 0 technical discovery locks integration scope.

08 — What Happens Next

Next steps

01
01
Select a delivery tier
Confirm whether Eroceht wishes to proceed with MVP ($173K), Enhanced MVP ($313K), or Enterprise ($521K). We recommend the MVP to validate the model with live transactions, then upgrade incrementally.
02
02
Sign engagement agreement
Blott issues a Statement of Work based on the selected tier. Monthly billing in arrears, net 14 day payment terms, detailed timesheets with every invoice.
03
03
Kick-off & Phase 0
Technical discovery begins within one week of contract signing. First call with Anchor Buyer IT teams to confirm ERP system and obtain API documentation.
04
04
Confirm open dependencies
ERP system selection, bank API access, data residency decision, and Bank of Zambia licence timeline. These run in parallel with the build — none block Phase 0.

This proposal is valid for 30 days from issue (20 March 2026). Post-live support packages available separately — starting at $27,143/month for a dedicated micro-team.
